Yan and Yulia contacted us to begin creating their dream day.

As a Cozumel photographer, I love helping couples design experiences that feel personal, private, and meaningful — and this elopement became one of those unforgettable stories.

We scheduled their ceremony for a day when Buccanos Beach Club was closed, giving us the entire location to ourselves. It felt like Cozumel gifted them their own private location.

Yan and Yulia requested a simple arch, which we prepared exactly as they imagined — and we surprised them with a second arch to make the moment even more special. We also arranged for a wedding content creator so they could take home beautiful videos and behind-the-scenes memories.

On the day of the elopement, it was just the couple and their two closest friends, creating the kind of small, heartfelt celebration I love photographing. The weather was perfect; although there wasn’t a sunset, the soft island light made every moment feel calm and romantic.

I captured their laughter, their quiet glances, and all the tiny, emotional moments that made their ceremony feel uniquely theirs. When the session ended, none of us wanted the day to be over. We continued the celebration together, visiting a few restaurants on the island, sharing stories, and enjoying the warm, relaxed Cozumel evening.

Days like this remind me why I love being a Cozumel photographer — because it’s about more than photos. It’s about creating experiences people will carry with them long after they leave the island.

If you’re planning an elopement or intimate wedding and looking for a Cozumel photographer to help bring your vision to life, I’d love to be part of your story.
